K-5 Program

Each classroom, kindergarten through fifth grade, receives 1/2 hour of music instruction each week.  The curriculm includes music rhythms, lyrics, songwriting, and music from many cultures.  Third through fifth grade instruction also includes beginning recorders in the curriculm.

The kindergarten through third grade program is fully funded by the Venetia Valley PTA.

The fourth and fifth grade program is fully funded by Heads Up Foundation. 

Middle School Program

Our middle school includes an elective five days a week (2 different periods) for Beginning and Advanced Band.

The middle school program is funded as part of Heads Up and the San Rafael City Schools District.
