Venetia Valley Plans on returning middle grade students on march 9, 2021!
Marin County has moved into the RED Tier, paving the way for allowing us to bring back our middle grade students. Venetia Valley will begin hybrid learning for our students in 6th thru 8th grade beginning on Tuesday, March 9, 2021!
During the week of February 22, our middle grade students that opted for in-person learning will check in with their advisory teacher every morning at 9 AM. The rest of the day, the students will complete their work asynchronously. This allows our teachers to participate in the safety trainings in preparation for in-person learning. The following week, March 1, students will continue to follow the online schedule they have been using. Please note, students that selected to stay remotely (online learning) for the rest of the year are not impacted by this schedule. Those students follow their regular online schedules.
We would also like to announce our town hall family meeting for our middle grade families, taking place on Tuesday evening, March 2, 2021 at 5 PM. At the town hall meeting, we will go over the safety protocols, expectations for students and families, and answer any questions you may have. Click on the link below to access the Town Hall Meeting! Announcements
The SRCS Board of Education has placed Measure G and Measure H on the May 4, 2021 ballot. Measure G would renew funding for local high schools, while Measure H would renew funding for elementary and middle schools. Learn more at www.srcs.org/MeasuresG&H.

In person school tours for both elementary and middle school families are currently cancelled due to COVID-19. We are working on offering a virtual tour. Stay tuned for more details.
As we return for hybrid learning, the school uniform policy will not be in effect. Families, please make sure your child is wearing clothing that is appropriate for school.
